SUMMARY:Decathlon Büyükada Half Marathon
LOCATION:Büyükada\, İstanbul\, Marmara
DESCRIPTION:Run through the pine-scented\, car-free lanes of Büyükada\, t
his race uses the island's quiet roads — shared with horse-drawn carriag
es and bicycles — as its course. Organized jointly by bro'event and the
Adalar Kültür Derneği\, it offers three distances from 5K to a half mar
athon. The island is reachable only by sea\, so getting to the start means
a ferry: sailings differ between operators\, and the timetable is worth c
hecking against the operator's own site when planning the trip. Entry fees
rise across three windows\; the normal one closes on 31 August and late e
 ntry runs to 20 September.
