DESCRIPTION:Organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Youth and Sports Department\, the European-side leg of this series starts at the LANGA bus stop in front of the Yenikapı Miting Alanı. The course follows the shoreline along Kennedy Caddesi: the 10K passes Kumkapı\, Cankurtaran\, Çatladıkapı and Sarayburnu before turning at the İDO terminal\, while the 5K turns at the Çatladıkapı social facilities\; both finish where they started. The 5K sets off at 08:00 and the 10K at 09:15\, with cut-offs of 50 and 90 minutes. Capacity is 1\,500 on the 5K and 6\,500 on the 10K\, with minimum ages of 14 and 16. Entry is 750 TRY for either distance and closes on 28 September. The 10K pays cash prizes to the first eight women and eight men\, the 5K gives Sportive vouchers to the top three\, and the 10K age categories award cups to Turkish athletes only. General classification is scored on gun time\, age categories on mat time. The course is closed to traffic from 06:00 to 12:00\, the venue opens at 07:15\, and Marmaray's Yenikapı station is walking distance from the start.
