Strictly necessary — always on

A session cookie that keeps you signed in to your athlete or organizer account, and a rate-limiting identifier that protects sign-in and other forms from abuse. The site can't function without these, so they're not something you can opt out of — the same way a store can't hand you a shopping basket without knowing which basket is yours.

Analytics — only with consent

Google Analytics (GA4) measures page views and general usage patterns, so we can tell which parts of the site are actually useful. It sets its own cookies and sends data to Google.

Advertising — only with consent

Google Ads records when a click on a "Register" button was reached through one of our ads, so we know which ads are worth running. It doesn't see anything about the registration itself — that happens entirely on the event's own site.

Changing your choice

You chose whether to allow analytics/advertising cookies the first time you visited. Change it anytime — this brings the banner back so you can pick again.
