About This Event
AHULEX is Türkiye's first ultra-distance cycling event, and its Mediterranean route TM1000 runs for a third time in 2026. The start is at 19:00 on 28 October from Selçuk in İzmir, with Köyceğiz as the event centre; the route crosses İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, Denizli and Burdur and is designed to total 1,000 km. Twenty checkpoints sit at archaeological sites and landmarks along the way, with camps at 250, 500 and 750 km — reaching any one of them earns the title of ultra-distance cyclist. Results are ranked over three distances, 250K, 500K and 1000K, solo or in two-person teams. Course closings: 250K at 15:00 on 29 October in Bodrum, 500K at 19:00 on 31 October and 1000K at 19:00 on 2 November, both in Köyceğiz. Riders must be 18 or over; entry includes an event passport, GPS tracking throughout, a dropbag carried to the camps, and a medal for finishing inside the time limit.
