About This Event
A two-day ultra marathon organized by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and promoted as Turkey's first volcano race. Saturday's three courses run across the volcanic terrain of the Kula Divlitleri UNESCO Global Geopark: the 55K Katakekaumene, the 35K Vulcanus, and the open-to-all 10K Divlit. Sunday moves to the ancient Lydian capital of Sardis for the 18K Tmolos and 7K Gyges courses. The 55K and 35K require a medical certificate or federation licence; the 10K, 18K and 7K carry no such requirement. Race-kit pickup begins Friday from 15:00 to 19:00. Registration runs through maraton.manisa.bel.tr; entry fees have not yet been published in press coverage.
