About This Event
Organized by the Istanbul-based Sinop Eğitim Vakfı (SEV) in coordination with the Sinop Governorship, this race pairs sport with education funding: part of the proceeds goes to university scholarships. On this peninsula city at Turkey's northernmost Black Sea point, courses from 5K to a half marathon aim to put Sinop on the national running map. The three courses start twenty minutes apart on 4 October 2026 — 21K at 08:00, 10K at 08:20, 5K at 08:40. Early registration opened on 23 June 2026; late registration runs to 2 October 2026, at which point fees rise to 1,200 TL for the 5K and 1,500 TL for the 10K and 21K.
