About This Event
Organized by Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, this international half marathon winds through the historic streets of Tarsus, introducing runners to the city's ancient fabric. A free public run accompanies the main half-marathon category. Entry to the half marathon is 500 TL and registration is online only. Part of the Turkish Athletics Federation's 2026 calendar and run under World Athletics rules: a single 21.1 km distance, a three-hour cutoff, and runners must have turned 18 by 25 October 2026. Age categories run in five-year bands from 35-39 to 80+. Every entrant receives a race bag, t-shirt and chip, and every finisher a medal — note that chips and race kits are not handed out on race day.
